Work with us.
At Spark the Noise, our growing community of women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people is at the heart of everything we do. We’re always on the lookout to welcome new people and the diverse skills, perspectives, and ideas they bring to shape and be part of our work.
Keep an eye on this page for opportunities to join us as team members, freelancers, Trustees, or volunteers.
Job Opportunities
Spark the Noise Trainee
Our new paid training programme, Spark the Noise: Pathways, is for women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people aged 18-25 who want to develop their skills and experience in either Music Tech & Live Engineering, Workshop Facilitation & Community Music Leadership, Tour & Artist Management, Social Media & Music Journalism or Music Promotion & Stage Management. Between June and September trainees will be paired with an industry mentor, undergo training in three core modules and have the opportunity to put their skills into practice by designing and facilitating a final project delivered at our Spark the Noise youth summer camp.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our work and the sustainability of our charity relies heavily on the skills, experience and generosity of our incredible community of volunteers to help deliver our programmes, run events and support our other year-round activities. As a volunteer with Spark the Noise you will have the opportunity to find a role that suits your experience and interests.
Common roles include teaching instruments, coaching bands, moving equipment, running workshops, catering for camps, and helping with event administration. All our roles at our programmes are for girls, women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people.
We’d like to thank Youth Music, Arts Council England and the National Lottery for their incredible support towards Spark the Noise’s past and current programmes.
